Exercise Programme

Our experienced physiotherapists can provide you with an individualized exercise program to help you stay physically and mentally fit. Having an exercise program that is tailored to you provides many other benefits, including improved condition of the heart and lungs, increased muscular strength, endurance and motor fitness, increased aerobic fitness, improved muscle tone and strength, weight management, better coordination, agility and flexibility, improved balance and spatial awareness, increased energy levels, increased physical confidence, reduced risk of chronic disease (such as type two diabetes and heart disease), improved sleep, improved wellbeing, self-confidence and self-esteem.  Our physiotherapists will complete an initial assessment to work out your individual fitness level and design your fitness program by assembling the equipment you will need.

Gym Work

These are one-to-one gym sessions where your physiotherapist will ensure that you are exercising appropriately, safely and effectively. The induction session will start by taking a detailed past medical history and assessing any potential health risks taking into consideration your mobility, flexibility, strength and aerobic endurance, and medical conditions. From this baseline assessment, your physiotherapist will then develop a programme and monitor your progress.
